1. Overview

Muslim Quba is designed to support Quran reading, prayer, remembrance, and personal worship. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

2. Information stored on your device

The app may store your preferences and activity locally on your device. This can include language, reciter, translation, reading layout and text size, bookmarks, notes, highlights, prayer settings, downloads, Hifz progress, recordings, and purchase status. This information is used to make the app work for you and is not sold by us.

3. Location data

If you allow location access, Muslim Quba uses your approximate or precise location to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location is requested only when needed for these features. You may deny or revoke permission at any time in your device settings; related features may then be limited.

4. Microphone and recordings

The microphone is used only when you choose a Hifz recording feature. Recordings are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them. We do not upload your recordings to our servers.

5. Third-party services

The app may connect to third-party services to stream or download Quran audio, retrieve Islamic content, process purchases, and display advertisements. These providers may collect technical information such as device identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, or advertising data according to their own privacy policies.

6. Advertising

The free version may display advertisements through Google Mobile Ads. Google and its partners may use information such as device identifiers and ad interaction data to provide, measure, and personalise ads where permitted by your settings and local law. Premium features may remove advertising as described in the app.

7. Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card information. Your store account and transaction data are handled under the store provider's privacy policy.

8. Data sharing and retention

We do not sell your personal information. Most app preferences and worship data remain on your device. If you delete the app, locally stored data may be removed according to your device and operating system behaviour. You can also remove downloaded audio and recordings from within the app where available.

9. Children

Muslim Quba is intended for a general audience. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can assist.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The current version will always be available in the app. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
